Have you ever thought about making money online? If you do, then I am sure you are excited about the possibility of earning a fortune. It is true that it's possible, but only few can attain it. Why? Because not everyone who invest their time and money in the internet succeed. First of all I would like to greet my avid readers an advanced Merry Christmas. I apologize for not approving some of your comments, but for some reason I want to keep them private. Selfish me, ayt? Nah, I just want to keep your kind notes, that's all.

One lesson in blogging that I want to impart today is "Don't Post What You Read" because if you do, you might be possibly tagged as a copycat. I know this isn't new, but I guess there are still some bloggers particularly newbies who are unaware. Thus they tend to copy and post an article "as it is" in their blogs or website.

During my blog hopping days, I usually see blogs that do copy. Personally, I admit some part of my articles are copied from some resources but I try in any way to make it as my own. If ever I copied something, I see to it to quote those lines and give credits to the author. I think that's how it goes.

So, if you really want to know how to make money online, the first thing you should list on your journal is "to never copy". That's it. Simple, right?

Anyway, I wo make this post long. I guess the main idea here is already imparted. If you really want to be known and respected in the blogosphere, be original, be yourself, and create your own.

Whew, the days are slipping so fast - only few days to count and it's already the much-awaited "Christmas Day". Have you already bought your Xmas gifts for your loved ones? As for me, not yet. I am still saving some extra cash which I can use to buy those gifts.

In the side of making money online, since Christmas is gift-giving, a lot of online marketers are looking forward for this season because it means bigger money for them. They sell stuffs in the Internet.

I've been away from blogging for more than a week - 10 days to be exact - because I had a Halloween vacation with my family. I had fun and felt relaxed. I missed blogging. I got my laptop with me but too bad there is no Internet connection in our house in the province. I was too lazy to go in the city so I decided to temporarily not post and enjoy my vacation.

So, I am back to with my how to make money online blog and ready to earn some cold cash. Hehehe.

With my absence in blogging, I admit my traffic decreased. If you are a blogger, you know what it means when you lose your traffic - you lose some money as well. Waaaah. But of course, instead of crying over spilled milk, I have to move on and bring back the lost traffic.

My experience on losing traffic taught me a lesson - "Traffic is very important - without it, there is no money". Traffic is money. Traffic is the queen.

Thus, I will be more active this coming days - to increase traffic so I will earn more. Making money online is very challenging and at the same time fulfilling. This journey has taught me a lot, earned me satisfying, and bought me a lot of things. So, I need traffic.

Recently, I've been receiving a lot of questions from fellow bloggers and online money makers - both newbies and noobs. Some of these queries were the usual, how to make money online, how to check scam online money making programs, how to deal with spam emails, how to make money online with Chitika, how..., why..., how much..., etc.

Today, I received another anonymous question "Does SlashMySearch pay members?". I think I already posted an article before expressing my opinion about the program. I concluded SlashMySearch is scam for not paying my earnings. I think a lot of their members are also claiming it does no longer pay its members... and when you request a payout, it will be declined.

Reality check: majority of Internet users, mainly men and teenagers, look for p0rnographic materials like pictures, videos, even text or articles online. With this, a lot of website designers and bloggers see this as an opportunity to make money online. They optimize keywords related to those searches hoping the traffic will convert to money - BIG money, that is.

How many of you have optimized the keywords like 'Pinay sc*ndals', 'pinoy p0rn', or any related words? I am sure most Filipino bloggers do. These are the keywords that are mostly searched in Google and Yahoo. I did not optimize these words because I don't want to... and considering the competition is tight, I don't have enough time to compete ;0

Okay, now that the traffic is great, the questions are: Is p0rnographic traffic worth it? Is this keywords really make money?

With Google Adsense, it is a big NO... because Public Service Ads are displayed when p0rnographic keywords are detected.

The best way to make money is through affiliate links. There are a lot of Affiliate Marketing sites offering such products. Y0u just have to look for them. You receive commission for every lead, sales, download, or registration.

I have not made or tried out p0rn affiliates and I have no plan in the future. Aside from I think this way is illegal, I prefer earning some cash in the Internet wherein my conscience will not haunt me. There are a lot of different ways to make money online, ayt?

I received an anonymous message the other day, August 13, 2008 revealing me his Paypal email address and password - as seen on the photo attached. You can click the image to enlarge it. Sorry, I hid the information for privacy purposes.

I am not sure if the person who left it is serious or at the right state of his mind. Why did he gave me his Paypal private information? I am still wondering right now...

I haven't tried yet if this is for real... because I don't have the guts to do so enter the info in Paypal. Just an advice to people out there wanting to make money online free... It is safe to give Paypal email address, but never your password. If you do so, you'll lose your hard earned money for hackers out there. Hope this is a lesson learned ;0

Anyway, here are the steps on how to create a Paypal email address:
1. Go to Yahoo.com and create an account. If you have an existing Yahoo email account, I recommend creating a new one which is only to be used for your Paypal transactions only. This is for security purposes and to avoid spam and phishing Paypal emails.
Note: You can also create a Gmail account, but personally I prefer Yahoo.

2. After you have created and verified your Yahoo email address, go to Paypal.com and create your Paypal account. Just follow and read every steps to avoid any error. You can create either a Personal, Premium, or Business account, but I recommend creating a Premium Paypal account. Note that you must have a credit card to verify your Paypal account.

3. Once you followed the steps, you are done creating your Paypal account. Remember to write your password to a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place.

Months ago, I posted an article talking about traffic is queen and content is king. I bet most bloggers, professionals or newbies, agree with me. Of course, traffic and good content works together. Without the other, it's impossible to be a successful online moneymaker, either by blogging or Internet marketing.

However, there are some - or should I say a lot - bloggers saying "More traffic means more money". Thus those newbie bloggers out there concentrate more on generating traffic and missing the real deal.

If you were to ask my opinion, based on my experience, I would say "More traffic does not actually mean more money". The real statement is "More targeted traffic means more money".

For example, this blog only generates at least 100 to 200 unique visitors a day coming from search engines a day. But I don't worry, because I am sure those visitors are targeted - the most likely they join my affiliate links or visit my advertisers.

I stay with my niche. I don't post for-traffic-only articles (I mean, se0 0ptimized keywords not related to my niche). The point is: What's the use of getting visitors if you don't benefit from them - or worst, they won't benefit from you because of reading your information-less post.

I prefer having few hundred visitors a day but having a lot of people who sign-up under my referral links rather than having a lot of visitors who will leave my blog and never come back again.

Months ago, when I was looking for other ways to make money online, I came to a site recommending another option - Make Money Through Donations. Hmmn, nice idea.

After reading the post, I immediately embedded a Paypal Donate code in this blog hoping someone might drop his donation. I waited and waited and waited until I give up.

Just early this year, I decided to finally remove it because I think no one will have the kind heart to do charity for me. Why? It's because most visitors of this blog coming from search engines, directories, social networking and bookmarking sites, etc want to make money, not to lose some money. Hehehe.

"How can I get a lot of referrals?" Another question every Internet money makers - or bloggers - have in mind. I admit, I usually ask this question especially when I was a newbie - I mean during my first two months of blogging. I tried searching Google, even asked some members on different forum web sites for tips on getting referrals. Most of them were able to share useful and helpful ideas while some did not. I mean, some of the tips they provided did not work for me. I compiled them all here... hope they will work for you too.

1. Setup a blog. It doesn't matter if it is a self-hosted, Wordpress, or Blogger blog... as long as you have a blog to put all your referral links. Create quality articles on your blog and submit it to directories related to your niche. I mean if your blog is about making money online, you should submit them in make money directory websites or blog community. Once your blog is getting enough traffic, you can put the referral codes or banners on the sidebar, or create a single post about the program.

2. Forum Signature. Join in as many forum sites and participate to the discussion. Place your referral link on your signature. Remember, do not spam.

3. Submit your blog to paid to click ads websites. However, this is not advisable if you are an Adsense publisher, as this is against their TOS. Better submit the referral link individually.

4. Email and Yahoo Messenger signature. Place your referrals links on your email signature as there is a possibility that the person you sent an email too will get interested and join. Also, it would be a good idea to place your link on your Yahoo Messenger status. It works for me.

5. Ask your friends to join under you. The more friends you have, the more people will sign up under you... especially if you can show them the proof of payments of each program you want them to join.

That's right. I need help with my Google Adsense account. I hope anyone can help me here :D I really appreciate it because I am a bit frustrated now. Please read my concern below and hope you leave a message on what should I do.

On January 26 this year, I received an email from Google Adsense informing me that my Google Adsense Personal Identification Pin has been sent through my physical address and I have 160 days to activate my account. On the email, I was informed that I should be expecting the Adsense postcard within 2-4 weeks. However, after double checking my account, I found out that my address was incorrect. I don't have my Street address. Given that fact, I did not receive my Adsense PIN after 4 weeks, so I requested another PIN on February 12 after modifying my address with the correct one.

I was informed I should receive the PIN within 3-6 weeks or 42 days to be exact. That means I should expect my PIN not after March 26, 2008. The problem is, today is the 42nd day. I already requested another PIN last week, because I was worried why I haven't received my second requested PIN yet. I am sure I provided the correct address.

My request last week is my last chance and I have again 42 days to wait. If I won't receive it again, that means I can no longer request another. And if I don't have my PIN, I can't activate my account. If I can't activate my account until June then it will be disabled. Oh no!!! I have earned $220 already and that's a big lose to me.

Please help. What should I do. Should I wait for the third email or should I email Adsense Admin in as early as now. Does anyone of you encountered this similar incident? Thank you.

Okay... I admit I lose my Pagerank just yesterday. I was so disappointed because I feel like all my efforts had vanished in just a moment. But life must go on and I should continue my journey in making money online.

During the first quarter, I did my best just to increase my Pagerank from zero. I spend most of my free time submitting my blog in several blog directories and reading blog articles hoping to find some tips in improving the Pagerank of my Make Money Online blog. I was so happy because after months of hard work and patience, I was able to make my Pagerank form 0 to 3 after the Google Pagerank update this month. Well, my Space of Reality blog obviously lose it's Pagerank from 3 to 0, but that's okay because I thought this blog has PR 3.

But, everything get worst after seeing the Pagerank of this blog yesterday. It dropped back to zero. What happened? I don't know. Why did Google immediately took my Pagerank? Anyway, after knowing my Pagerank is back to zero, I get frustrated... I can no longer can make money with paid reviews... but as I said, life must go on. There are still a lot of other opportunities where I can earn money. Maybe I should try affiliate marketing or concentrate more with Google Adsense. Back to zero again... I will no longer try to increase my Pagerank. I am already done. I think I should concentrate more on how to increase traffic of my blog rather than my Pagerank which can easily taken away from you. Pagerank or Traffic? Definitely, traffic!!!

I was checking my Sitemeter statistics awhile ago when I saw one Google search that directed to my blog. One person - I don't who he is - typed the keywords "How Can I Earn Money By Visiting My Site" in Google search box. I don't know why my blog was indexed with the said keyword. I can't remember any topic where I discussed about this - not until now of course. I thought is an interesting topic to blog, so here I am blogging this topic.

Can you really make money just by visiting your own blog or site? Of course, the answer is obviously and definitely a big and bold NO. There is no such thing as making or generating money just by simply visiting your own blog. If that will be the case, then I think every blogger should be making money online.
